Getting to Langkawi - Visitors can drive, take a train or fly to Langkawi. Malaysia Airlines flies to the island from most major Malaysian cities. If visitors choose to drive or take a train, they can take a ferry to Langkawi island from any of the following places: Penang, Kuala Kedah and Kuala Perlis

The Andaman has 188 deluxe rooms and suites. Each is furnished with king or twin beds, minibar, coffee and tea making facilities, writing desk and chair, individually controlled air-conditioning, hairdryer, ceiling fan, in-room safety box and IDD telephone lines. Lanai rooms feature sunning decks with umbrella and are on the first floor. The Executive Suites, Malaysian Suite and Presidential Suite features king-size beds while the Japanese suite has twin beds.
